Over 400 helmets from all over the world, but mostly from the United States, Great Britain, Germany and France.

About 150 helmets are on display at a number of places in the galleries.  They include working and parade helmets ranging from an English Insurance Brigade helmet dating from about 1750 to modern helmets from the United States, Germany, England, Japan and New Zealand.  The museum also owns about 50 dress caps from the United States, England, Germany, and Switzerland.

Left:  The museum exhibits over a hundred helmets from such European nations as as Austria, France, Germany, Sweden, Holland, France, Belgium, Great Britain, Italy, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, and East Germany.  Also on display are helmets from New Zealand, Australia, French West Africa, Mexico, Cuba, Japan, the Philippines, and Hong Kong Colony.
